Walked in to a lovely welcome, the staff behind the bar are extremely receptive and literally made us what we wanted (it was off menu) after ordering we had them brought to our table, a short while later after enjoying the dj we were given a complimentary shot that was a straight 9/10 . Really great place, I think it's just opened so definitely one to try! Edit We had breakfast here and it really didn't miss the mark. Friendly server really welcoming smile and great food, can't complain one bit

This is my favourite hang out spot now & hands down the best coffee in Hampshire. The staff are masters of coffee in the day & cocktail experts in the evenings. They are all extremely kind, welcoming & Southampton is very lucky to have them here. The food is also brilliant & I'm slowly making my way through the menu!

Awesome night out with my team. Small plates were delicious, great music playing and impeccable service - the staff were so attentive & absolutely fantastic. Barman was knowledgeable and fully capable of accommodating off-menu cocktails (sorry about that! ) which were all made perfectly. We had a LOT of drinks, which pushed the price per head up, but the cocktails were good value at 12 for the quality. The standard cocktail menu is varied and interesting, well put together. Definitely a 10/10 for an evening out - thanks guys!

First time visiting Good Things for lunch, and it exceeded my expectations! We tried the Miso Marinated Steak Banh Mi and the Korean Fried Chicken Banh Mi, and both were absolutely delicious. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the chicken had just the right amount of crunch and spice. Each sandwich came with a generous variety of side ingredients, creating rich and satisfying layers of flavour in every bite. The coffee was another highlight—the latte art was stunning, showing real attention to detail and professionalism. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it an ideal spot to unwind with friends, enjoy a good meal, and chat. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall great experience. Definitely a place I’ll return to for its unique menu and welcoming vibe!

The only coffee place where it seems I have experienced a different experience to my coffee. It was recommended by the Barrista and I really enjoyed my Columbian La Ricaurte. Besides the ample amount of paper filtered coffee, I got a card with details of the blend. Quite a coffee experience. They also serve an amazing brownie with ice-cream, you will have to ask them to remove marshmallows beforehand if you want halal. Soft warm brownie with caramel topping and pretzel was incredible with ice cream. I want to try out the other paper filter and espresso coffees and potentially get some of their packaged coffee, which is prepared through a coffee world champions knowledge.

Came in to celebrate with 2 friends to eat for the first time and we had such an amazing time!! During the lunch we were served by Brooke and the customer service was absolutely lovely!! Later on in the afternoon we were served by Chloe, Levi, and Gabriel so pleased with the service received the food was absolute perfection I could taste the freshness highly recommend and can’t wait to come back again and try the rest of the menu!

Awesome place for cocktails and small food. The staff (especially), cocktails and food were amazing. Plenty of space, lovely place. We’ll definitely be going back.

My fiancee and I had our engagement party here in their downstairs area and we absolutely loved it. The place looks incredible, the staff are super friendly and hard-working, their sound system is awesome, the cocktails are excellent... honestly, I genuinely cannot put into words how great this was. We've also been for food and coffee during the day before and it was absolutely delicious. You can tell that they put a lot of thought and effort into everything they do. And even though we live a little far out, we will definitely be back. No wonder so many people have been recommending it. They are smashing it!
